An 18F-FLT PET/CT Scan is a nuclear medicine imaging test used to assess cellular proliferation in tumors. It involves injecting a radiotracer called 18F-fluorothymidine (FLT) into the bloodstream. FLT is a thymidine analog that is incorporated into DNA during cell division, thus highlighting areas of active cell proliferation.
