Phlebotomy services are dedicated to the collection of specimens for INMOL patients. This section provides services to the inpatients of INMOL Hospital, outpatients from other hospitals and INMOL employees. Services include blood collection; provision of containers for urine, sputum, sample sorting and distribution of blood samples to other sections and delivery of reports. Approximately 35,000 collection-related procedures are performed each year.

Haematology lab is integral part of services extended by Pathology labs to patients. The lab is equipped with 16 parameter automated 6 part haematology analyzers (2Nos) that provide hourly CBC reports to patients coming for their chemotherapy. The haematology lab performs about 30,000 CBC tests annually

The Clinical Chemistry laboratory provides routine and state of the art specialized assays for patient care. Most tests that are required urgently are performed, continuously, with short turn round time, on automated, high volume rapid analyzers for nearly 20 different clinically important parameters. These include, but are not limited to glucose, BUN, electrolytes, Ca, P, liver function tests, renal function tests, glucose and protein. Other special parameters include Lipid profile, HbA1c, Iron profile. Clinical Chemistry laboratories generate over 127000 test results a year which accounts for about 80 percent of the testing volume of the department

Immunology lab provide services include HCV, HBV, HIV, Vitamin D testing using ELISA and chemiluminescent (CLIA) techniques

Clinical Microbiology Laboratory offers comprehensive testing for detection, isolation, characterization and susceptibility testing of infectious agents. The lab is equipped with horizontal laminar floor, microscope, hot air ovens, incubators and autoclave. The lab also provide quarterly microbiological survey reports of INMOL wards.

With recent advances in diagnostic pathology, most of the new diagnostic assays are now utilizing DNA based tests for treatment of patients. At INMOL, keeping pace with advances in diagnostic pathology, DNA based / molecular lab was established to provide advanced diagnostic services to the patients. The Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory is responsible for the development and performance of molecular diagnostic tests for nucleic acid targets found in a variety of settings in medicine. Accredited and licensed by Punjab Blood Transfusion Authority as category A, the Blood Bank performs routine and specialized compatibility testing and provides blood components to support the transfusion needs of cancer patients. INMOL blood bank is responsible for ensuring that the best and safest blood products are given to the patients using state of art technology. The Blood bank provides standard and specialized blood components for transfusion, compatibility testing for recipients. The Apheresis/Transfusion Service provides clinical apheresis support for in-patients including hematology, oncology ward patients
