The Clinical Oncology Department at INMOL is working under the supervision of Dr. Rab Nawaz Maken. It comprises Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Clinical Hematology. Over 6,000 new patients are registered every year. One hundred-bedded wards are available for patients, along with private and isolation rooms. A state-of-the-art Chemotherapy Bay is managed with 100 to 150 patients receiving chemotherapy on an outpatient basis daily. A 12-bedded Leukemia Bay and a 15-bedded pediatric unit provide excellent care for patients diagnosed with hematological malignancies.
Our experienced team of radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and radiation therapists offers 2D RT, 3D CRT, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, HDR brachytherapy, PET/CT, and MRI fusion techniques. The infrastructure available for radiation therapy includes a Co-60 machine, three linear accelerators with IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, and SBRT capability, a conventional 2D simulator, a large-bore CT simulator, an MRI simulator, high-dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy, and comprehensive treatment planning systems.

Academic activities, presentations, journal clubs, and multidisciplinary tumor boards are organized weekly for updated learning and collaboration among all specialties. Cancer awareness programs are frequently arranged for the general public. There is active participation by our consultants in national and international conferences and training.
